Hi, My daughter was diagnoised with JDMS last month. She is 13years old. It is very scary to me. How do you do it? Is your daughter, Julia better? I am so full of questions but I won't ask them here. I wish you all the best.

My daughter Kendall was diagnosed with JDMS 2 months ago and is now on 30mg prednisone methotrexate and soon will be going thru IVIg once a month for 6months. Your site was very informative especially since she just got diagnosed. Answered a lot of questions. Thank you for taking the time to put this together. Kendall just turned 10 in March, she is our angel from heaven. We learn from her everyday...

commended for your effort in putting up this website to assist dermatomyositis patient to know and manage the disease more efficiently. My daughter Evelyn Hii contract the disease in 1999 and she is 22 years now. She is the 2nd JDMS in Malaysia and Singapore in accordance with Prof. Dr. Wong Hock Pung, Singapore National University. Very few doctors locally can advise on the disease. My daughter lose confidence in seeking medical help. However, your websites really give a good background to assist doctors in carrying out research of this disease

Ralph, Thank you for sharing your daughters diary. I was diagnosed with DM in 2001,after going through breast cancer surgery. I wish I had read this then. There were so many questions that no one could answer.I had the symptons for years but it manifested during chemotherapy. I am doing great and glad to know your daughter is doing well. I felt as if I was there with your family sharing the same questions and frustrations.
Thanks

Thanks Julia for putting your story out for my daughter to read. She was diagnosed this year in March 2004, she is 11 yrs old and scared to death. Your journal is comforting to her to read. She also writes in a journal to let out those feelings about having JDMS. Thanks again...Kim and Kelli

[Hi Jade, glad you like the FAQ!  I don't have the factory alarm on my RAV, so I don't know where the Glass Break Sensor might be.  I suggest posting your question on the RAV4World Forum.   Someone there should be able to help you.  Good luck!  --Ralph]

Ralph, where did you get the ashtray coin dispenser for your Passat. By the way, what part number is the coin dispenser? Did you have to trim or modify the dispenser to make it fit? Looks great, would like to duplicate it.
Scott <twentyandout2007-AT-yahoo.com>
Long ISland, NY USA - Sunday, January 18, 2004 at 21:15:44 (EST)

[Hi Scott, and thanks. The change dispenser is unfortunately not something I know how soemone can order.  It's an early 80's vintage dispenser that I bought for a previous car.  I found it lying around in my garage and I thought it might fit.  It almost did, so I had to Dremel away some plastic to make it fit.  I installed it with four 1" foam picture mounting squares and it's held on tight for almost 3 years.  If you want to do this, look for a change dispenser that is as short as possible, a taller one definitely will not fit.  Good luck!  --Ralph]

So nice Thank u
