Hi Ralph...don't know if you remember me but we graduated Lyman Hall together. I was browsing classmates.com and clicked to your website. It was very interesting to read about you and your family, especially about your daughter. It's obvious that your have invested a great deal of your life trying to make her life better. I had never heard of the disease she has. I have done a great deal of research and spoken to numerous doctors about atopic dermatitis. My four-year-old son has a very serious case of it, to the point where he has been in extreme pain and has needed medication and sedatives. After two+ years, my husband and I have found a wonderful doctor who has given us the right combination of medications and helped us to change our lifestyle to suit his needs. Connor's skin is currently under control with an occasional flair up. People don't realize how debilitating this skin disease can be. We often heard comments like "It's just a skin rash." Seeing your child in such discomfort makes you feel very helpless...and on a brighter note, I see that you do not live very far from me in Nashua. Do you visit Wallingford often? My family is still there so we--my husband of 20 years, Gary, son Brad, age 11, and Connor--visit several times a year. It was a pleasure e-mailing you. Best to you, Sharon Barile Thompson

Hi Ralph, Your Rav 4 FAQ was very informative. I do have one question for which I didn't find the answer. Where is the fuel filter on the Rav 4? I have a 1997 model and have searched the fuel line starting at the front of the tank and see nothing.

Dear Ralph,
It's been very interesting for me to read about your daughters dsease as I to suffer from dermatomyositis. I am 16 years old and live in Manchester in Great Britian. My disease started when I was nearly 3 years old and over the past 13 years I too have had my ups and downs due to the disease. Because of my deteriation in muscle strength and several broken legs, I have been left permenently in a wheelchair. The disease is has now burnt itself out in my body and I am just left with weekness I no longer suffer any discomfort and the rash only remains slightly around my nose. I am happy with my life and it is very interesting for me to hear about other children with the disease and to see how their disease has progresed. I would like to say thankyou for designing your webpage because I can see similarities and differences between my diseases course and Julie's so thankyou for taking the time to put this site on the web. I wish you the best of look in the future, all of you, and if you wish to get in contact I would be delighted to speak to you.
